Oops, should have clarified that. Cilantro is a cool-weather annual (unlike basil, which is an annual as well, but loves hot weather), so once it starts getting too warm out, cilantro will start to go to seed and will need to be pulled out and then re-seeded in the late summer/early fall for a fall harvest.
